When I started learning to culture human iPS cells, induction of lung cells was still just a "dream," however, after several discoveries, the dream came true. In pursuing our goals, we can find the pleasure of realizing our "dreams" in our research. We will continue to pioneer new fields with passionate members who share the same goals, even if they are still "dreams" at the moment, while aiming to overcome intractable diseases by utilizing my background of a physician-scientist.
